Never had chicken and waffles before, so Teddy at the front counter recommended the 3 flavor sampler which is southern fried, house recipe, and Korean fried on a waffle. Also went for a side of fried mac and cheese. The Korean fried was my favorite, its sweet-spicy. Will definitely repeat. Love the tribute wall to classic hip hop too. Help this place grow!
First time here. The place is located is a nice area of town. At first we weren't sure were the place was as we just saw an Irish pub. But the Irish pub was the correct location as they have the RyGuys menu. We were seated immediately. Our waiter Gabriel was excellent!! Good service, nice bar atmosphere, have some cool shot selections and good food options. I had the RyGuys chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the waffle was good too. I do recommend.
Finally!! I finally have discovered the best chicken in waffles around and I would have to say maybe the best I’ve had after have lived in 3 other southern states known for chicken and waffles. I’ve never had chicken so perfectly cooked either. As far as price, I’ve paid double for half the serving size and not even close to being on par with this place on serving or flavor. I think this place should be a stop for Guy Fieri as well..it’s that good. The only regret I have is not coming here any sooner, don’t be like me and wait, go here NOW
I’m not from Tampa so I was a little bit confused as to the location, I had no idea it was in a pub. So it was unexpected. The chicken and waffles were really good. The music was good and the bar had my tequila plus it was ladies night 1/2 off heeeyyyyy!!!! I was ok with that. Bartender was really friendly and it wasn’t super crowded and they also have Karaoke!! They also played a variety of music which I liked.
If you're a vet, this spot is for you! Korean Bar B Que was crispy and most. The waffle was Butta! The atmosphere is friendly Vet family. Next time in town, we will definitely stop in again.
Outstanding meal! Might have been the most perfectly-cooked chicken tenders I've ever had. Teddy was very attentive and personable. Worth the drive from pretty much anywhere around the greater Tampa Bay area.
As soon as I walked in I knew I was in treat. This place is amazing and they easily make some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. It was crispy and juicy at the same time. I had the southern style chicken and waffles with salted caramel and I can't wait to try the other items on the menu. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes food.
Had the Korean bbq with maple syrup for the waffle. So amazingly yummy! And the cocktail matched perfectly.
